Excuse me for writing to you in the English language. Since I’m Dutch, my reading and speaking in German is better than my writing. Please feel free
to respond in German.
In your Ortsfamilienbuch Stuhr on internet I found several members of the
Von Meyerfeld family. Since my familyname is Von Meijenfeldt you could
imagine that I am interested to know more about this family.
Could you – by the way – explain to me what “(im Ksp.)” after Stuhr means?
In earlier contacts with Herrn Fritz Hopfgarten for “Die Maus” I got hold
of Johan Dierck and Herman Diederich von Meyerfelt, who in 1730 were
“Paten” in the St. Petri Dom in Bremen. The second one could be the same as
your Hermann Dieterich von Meyerfeld (1710-1742).
Could you give me any advice how to further trace back and trace forward
these Von Meyerfelds?
