Dear Madam/Sir,

Excuse me for writing in English, you can respond in Swedish.

My ancestors from the noble Meijerfeldt family had a mansion in Näsby and went to church in Täby Kyrka. Two widows granted objects to your church remembering their late husbands. The first one was Brita Barnekow offering a silver can in 1750. The second one was Lovisa Sparre offering 3-arm candle holders around 1800 (artist D. Hallman).

My question is as follows. I have a photo of the can (taken by Gustav Hanson) from a paper booklet I took along when visiting your church 20 years ago. Would it be possible to receive a photo of the candle holders as well?

Thank you very much for your quick e-mail in Swedish and English with exacly the PDF-attachment I had hoped for.
 
I have used your information and picture on a ‘museum’ page of my website. I have three questions still:
1. The candle holder has been moved once or twice. The Eviga Ljusets kapell  seems to have been closed. In which building and room is it actualy now?
2. Why is there an “inköpspris” of SEK 30.000 when it was a gift of countess Lovia Augusta Meijerfeldt in 1817?
3. I now refer to the origin of the picture and information with “Täby församling, K00197”. Could you propose a better reference?

Hej igen!

   1. We are reconstructing Eviga Ljusets kapell and the candle holders are stored in Tibble kyrka for the moment, but they will be returned to the new building.

   2. I don´t know but i think thats just the value at the time the notesystem were made. I can contact the administrator for the system and give her your input.

   3. K00197 is the reference in our notesystem and i can´t change it.
