Dear Prof. James Massengale,
With this e-mail I take the liberty to ask you the following.
On internet I read your review of Stefan Ekman. “I skuggan af Din Graf, jag pa min Lyra slar.”. You wrote: “Several of Bellman’s poems about dead people–those about J.A. Meijerfeldt, Anna Charlotta Schroderheim, and Wilhelm Boxberg–have been struck from the corpus.”
J.A. Meijerfeldt is the natural father of my greatgreatgrandfather, who came from Swedish Pomerania to Amsterdam. I wrote a book about the Swedish family and a website (in Dutch) www.meijenfeldt.nl.
My question is: where can I find the text of Bellman’s poem about J.A. Meijerfeldt and perhaps any explanations/comments?
I would like to thank you in advance for any trouble taken.
Best wishes,
Hugo G. von Meijenfeldt

Dear Stefan Ekman,
With this e-mail I take the liberty to ask you the following. Excuse me for writing in English; you could respond in Swedish if you wish.
On internet I saw a review of your “I skuggan af Din Graf, jag pa min Lyra slar.”. Prof. James Massengale wrote: “Several of Bellman’s poems about dead people–those about J.A.
I wrote a book about the Swedish family and I maintain a website (in Dutch) www.meijenfeldt.nl.
My question is: would you know where I can find the text of Bellman’s poem about J.A. Meijerfeldt and perhaps any explanations/comments?
I would like to thank you in advance for any trouble taken.
Best wishes,
Hugo G. von Meijenfeldt
