Dear Madam/Sir,

Excuse me for writing to you in the  English language; I am a citizen of the Netherlands. An answer in Swedish is not a problem. I would like to forward the following request to you.

My great-great-grandfather Johan August von Meijenfeldt came to the Netherlands around the year 1800. He always told his children that he was a real son of the Swedish fieldmarshall count Johan August Meijerfeldt (1725-1800) and countess Sparre (1745-1817). His story is difficult to believe when I look into the official records in Sweden. His oldest son Johan August Meijerfeldt died in Stockholm 23-05-1791. In your website I was able to trace him in the register of the Jakob Kyrka.  The reference is book F I a : 3 side 40.

Since there is no microfilm or scan of the book itself and a visit to your archive is a littlebit time consuming, I wonder if it is possible to obtain a photocopy through postal mail or a scan through e-mail from you (of course I am ready to cover your expenses). Any hint how to continue my research I would be most welcome.

Thank you in advance for the trouble taken,

Yours sincerely,
Hugo G. von Meijenfeldt
