Dear madam/sir,

Although I’m living in the Netherlands and therefore using the English language, I am forwarding you the following question with regard to my military ancestors between 1674 and 1800, the Swedish counts Meijerfeldt.

Is it possible to check your index or inventory of the Krigsråd with regard to several conflicts between the Meijerfeldts and general Magnus Stenbock? As far as I know there could be three conflicts:

– in 1704 with lieutenant-colonel Wolmar Meijerfeldt concerning disrespect and gossip, according to KKD XII, page 261-262.

– in 1705 with major-general Johan August Meijerfeldt concerning remarks about foreign troups, according to KKD XII, page 273-280 (eye witnesses were called, but King Karl XII stopped the procedure).

– in 1710 again with major general Johan August Meijerfeldt concerning the Battle at Helsingborg, according to the rhyme “Då Tolffte Carl I Swerie Rår / Nytt folck i Fält med Stenbock går / En Meyerfelt för Krigs-Råd står (…)”.

I hope you can advise me on how to require more information. Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Hugo von Meijenfeldt
