Excuse me writing to you in the English language. You could write back to me in Swedish if you wish.
In the Stola Herregard two oval paintings of the young counts Johan August and Axel Fredrik Meijerfeldt are hanging on the wall. I believe there is a third painting of Brita Meijerfeldt born Barnekow, Lovisa Augusta Meijerfeldt born Sparre or Anna Margaretha Horn born Meijerfeldt.
My question to you is if I am right and if I could obtain pictures of these painting (including payment of course). As you might tell from my family name they are my ancestors.

Ursäkta att svaret dröjt, men vi har varit på resa och just kommit hem.
De tre porträtt du nämner finns på Stola, men vi har inga foton på dem merän oskarpa i vår katalog.
Vi undrar därför vilken typ av foton du önskar (digitala eller papper) och om de skaanvändas för publicering eller endast för privat bruk.

Vi har alltså inga foton.
Om du vill kan Vänermuseets fotograf komma hit och ta bilderna. Han kostar 700 krper påbörjad timme plus bilkostnad.
Sen tar museet betalt för varje användning av bilden.

Kerstin Gustafsson advised me to contact you about the possibility to take photos of three paintings in Stola Herrgard. You received a c.c. of her e-mail.
My skills in (modern) Swedish are not very high, but I think I read that a photographer would cost me 700 SEK per hour plus travel expenses. I assume this could easily lead to an overall price of more than 2.000 SEK. Because I already have photo’s in color of the three paintings – though of poor quality – I’m afraid such a price is too high for me.
