For some time I am researching the history of my family. The origins are in Livonia, although it is possible they were German immigrants before 1480. In 1562 member went into Swedish service. Andreas Meijer, chief inspector over the enormous Oberpahlen estates, was introduced in the Swedish nobility with the name Meijerfeldt in 1674. His wife was Catharina Wulff and sons Carl Friedrich, Johann August and Wollmar Johann. More details (in Dutch I’m afraid) on www.meijenfeldt.nl.

- My general question is: I did not find their names with dates of birth, marriage en death of the members in the scanned churchbooks of Oberpahlen; could you think of an alternative?

About your general question, it might be possible that they belonged to some other bigger congegration, perhaps even in Tallinn, Tartu or Riga, that should be looked through. Personal name indexes of registers of parishioners (http://www.ra.ee/dgs/addon/nimreg/index.php) gives some results to 19th and 20th century persons with name Meyerfeld/Meyerfeldt/Meierfeld in EELK Tallinna Niguliste, EELK Tallinna Kaarli and EELK Koeru congegration.
