Good morning!
In your gallery I found two pictures of Johan August Meijerfeldt, according to you both born 1725, died 1800.
On the “Kopparstick på papper” of Daniel Tilas Inv. nr. NMG 10/1884 we see though his father Johan August Meijerfeldt, born 1664, died 1749. In the year of the painting 1733 he was 67 years old with a Senator cap, while his son was only 8 years old.

Thank you for your e-mail and the remark concerning a portrait depicting Johan August Meijerfeldt (NMG 10/1882).
Certainly this print depicts the father (1664-1749) and not the son (1725-1800). I am sorry that this portrait has been connected to incorrect biographical information. I have asked the colleagues working with Nationalmuseum’s collection data base to correct this error. Since it is still summer holidays in Sweden, it might take some time before the change in the collection data base is made.
