May I pose a question to you with regard to the Bergarder Meyer line Jakob – Andreas – M. Friedrich that I have found on your very interesting website? I remember we had earlier contacts. In that case I would like to apologize for approaching you once again.
What is your source that Andreas had another son Andreas, who was raised in Swedish nobility in 1674?
Until now I base myself of the Swedish genealogical works of Anrep and Elgenstierna, who place the ancestors of Andreas Meyer in Livland (https://meijenfeldt.nl). It could well be that these sources are wrong and that Andreas Meyer lived in Belgard when it was occupied by Sweedish troops and decided to step into service with the Swedish count Wrangell.
