Together we brought a part of the jigsaw puzzle together. The city of the German origin of your ancestor is still unknown, although I found a clue that Mecklenburg has to be the region.<\/p>\n<p>In my new job in San Francisco I witnessed the great Oracle race. In my economic diplomacy activities I have quite a few Oracle contacts in the Bay Area. I have done some digging since then, and found the records of when my Great-Great Grand Parents (and Great Grand Father at age 3) came from Germany to USA in early 1870s, and in it, they stated they were from Nuremberg.<\/p>\n<p>My mother had never heard that, but given the city&#8217;s noteriety from being connected to the Nazis, I can see how that may have never been passed down<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t get to SF much. Actually up in Seattle right now &#8211; and here most weeks on a project.
