On youw website I can see that the “Portr\u00e4tt av Johan August Meijerfeldt (1664-1749). 1600-tal. Osignerad. Olja p\u00e5 duk 152×115 cm. Retuscher, dukveck, dubblerad.” has been auxioned and sold on 15 May 2014. The Helsingborgs Auktionsverk is mentioned as well. I believe the painting was in the posession of the Bennet family, the previous owners of the nearby Rosendal castle.<\/div>\n

Count Meijerfeldt sr is the greatgrandfather of my greatgrandfather. As part of my historical research into my family I have established a website. One of the pages https:\/\/meijenfeldt.nl\/?page_id=701<\/a> <\/span>\u00a0is devoted to all portraits of count Meijerfeld sr I could find. The quality of the photo of this particular painting is quite poor.<\/div>\n

My question to you is whether you are willing to forward my request for a better photo to the buyer of the painting. As an alternative I am \u00a0willing to travel from Amsterdam to the place where the picture is now, as soon as the Corona rules allow me to.<\/div>\n
