Dear all,

Excuse me for writing in the English language. You could write back to me in Swedish if you wish.

I am looking for “Svecia illustris” by A.A. von Stiernman. According to references I could find this in the UUB under X 18. In the collection of UUB-111030001 after X 10 and X 11 the figure jumps to X 23 and 24. Does this mean X 18 is not in any archive anymore?

Dear all,

In the context of studying the history of my Swedish ancestors – the noble family Meijerfeldt – I am looking for “Svecia illustris” by A.A. von Stiernman. According to the Svenskt Biographiskt Lexikon of 1986 this is supposed to be the oldest (and only) source explaining the ancestry of the Meijerfeldts.

According to the Lexikon this souce can be found in your collection UUB-111030001 under X 18. Do you have this source indeed in your library and If so, how could I study the material on the Meijerfeldt family, taking in mind the physical distance between Uppsala and my hometown of 1160 km?

Thank you very much again. Sorry to come back with two more small questions.
My conclusion from your information is that the author A.A. von Stiernman did not write a longer title than “Svecia illustris” on the front page. Is even the year of writing / publication unknown?
While ordering the scan of four pages I didn’t have to pay yet. Is that according to your procedure or did I make a mistake?

What I can see there is no year of creation precised in the volume.
